Should children go to school without ever meeting a scientist?

Native Scientist, a European non-profit organization that implements educational programs that build bridges between children and scientists, especially children from the most vulnerable communities. With quality at the forefront, Native Scientist is a brand that has grown over the last few years and has several projects being developed at the same time - Native Schools, Native Explorers, Native Training and Scientist goes back to school.

With a brief to transform their purpose into a power brand, we set out to 'organize the house' while highlighting their authority. We presented an actionable, user-friendly strategy with a singular tone and inclusivity at every touchpoint, assuring customers that their needs are not only understood but positioned at the center of the Native Scientist offering. To this end, the brand will be divided as a brand and sub-brands so that all can exist in harmony and each sub-brand can have its partners and/or sponsors.
With a brand promise to stay real, the design team made some visual changes to the brand identity, making it fun, innovative and engaging that feels fresh and relatable and positions itself in a niche of its own. The current Native Scientist logo has been retained, taking only a few changes, while the sub-brand logos have been completely altered. 

The result is a thoughtful brand identity that elevates a unique brand voice in what feels both comforting and exciting - delivering serious results in the quietest way. 

Who is Native Scientist ?

The idea for Native Scientist was born out of a desire to connect scientists and children across Europe to reduce inequalities, promote quality education and celebrate diversity.

Native Scientist aims to combat social exclusion in bilingual communities, seeking to stimulate interest in science and mother tongues.

It is a brand committed to promoting a fair and quality science education so that everyone can reach their full potential, regardless of their background. It believes that any child should not go through school without meeting a scientist.

A modern company, Native Scientist believes that joy should be sought every day.

Why should we care?

Consumer awareness is skyrocketing when it comes to education, since schools have shown great difficulty in meeting some human diversity, since it still retains conceptions and practices based on pedagogical trends that believe in a homogenized learning process, disregarding diversity. Thus, it becomes necessary and urgent to create other programs that can give support to schools and students. We know that consumers want to advocate for equity and inclusion in education and science, and Native Scientist provides the goods to do just that.
